The staff I dealt with were incompetent at best. Although they were very nice. The cabin was filled with bugs because there were large gaps at door an around air conditioner. I paid for linens and they were not provided. I had to remind …

Written from a RV camper’s perspective. Lake Raystown resort is superior vacation getaway. It has an interesting variety of camper spots, yurts and cabins. The RV sites range from lakeside spots with concrete pads, to lake adjacent sites with asphalt parking, to forested gravel RV spots. Not all grace spots are level. All have water and electric, no sewer, although a honey cart is available daily at an extra charge. Note that the lakeside spots are high demand and need booking months in advance. As of fall 2023, the marina cafe is open 7 days a week. The resort roads are all paved and are great for biking around on. No golf carts or ATVs allowed. The staff is present and makes the rounds for trash pickup at your site. All in all a very pleasant experience. We would return here.

The mattresses were rough. It was hard to sleep. We reserved a deluxe room for our four kids and us- 6 total. You only get one device internet hookup… TV was also low quality- again nothing big if you’re going to unplug. The lake is beautiful- the beach is 25 min away. So it is ideally in the middle of no where. The staff was very pleasant. Rooms were clean. Again, just going to need a chiropractor due to the terrible mattresses on the bed. My sister didn’t reserve a deluxe room and our rooms weren’t much different- so for paying more that was a little upsetting. It wasn’t a terrible experience over all… just should’ve been more prepared with the Kids as there wasn’t much to do…

Below average. Stayed in a cabin. If the advertisement reads two double beds, along with the bunks, for a capacity of 8, don't believe it. A bed consists of a mattress. These are not mattresses. They are plastic covered thick hard foam that …

Its cabins, and RV spots. Lake and scenery are pretty. We stayed at the lodge, rooms are outdated cable isn’t the best a lot of analog channels. Only one person gets free WiFi everyone else in your party needs to pay additional. If you don’t have a kayak, jet ski, or boat there’s not a lot to do except swim in the lake or hiking. There is a little store on site with limited groceries and camping needs, if you need groceries you’ll need to travel 20 mins to the nearest grocery store, so pack food accordingly like you’re going camping. When we were there the restaurant was only open for breakfast on Saturday’s and opened at noon during the weekdays. Restaurant opens at 8:00 am, we got there at 7:57 am and the host was annoyed. Kept saying we don’t open to 8:00am, then answered an incoming call and told that person the same-thing and said they needed to call back after 8:00am, in another three minutes. If you’re not open why have the door open, and why answer the phone? Not the best customer experience. Our last night we wanted to sit on the balcony and watch the stars, but someone at the marina was playing their music loud at 11:00pm and the sound travels across the lake, so we went back inside. If you are looking for the outdoor camping environment this is a good place. If you are looking for customer service don’t expect a lot. We left feeling like we paid money to be someone’s burden. Perhaps it was an off day for the hostess, or she has had bad experiences with customers in the past. It was our first time at the resort restaurant so we didn’t know showing up a few minutes before 8:00 am would cause such a negative response.

We have stayed at this campground many times with family but this was my husband and i’s first trip solo in our new camper. We knew we wanted site #157 for the extra large size and it was perfect. The campground offers lake side sites, lake view sites (almost every site has a lake view in my opinion), cabins, villas, yutes, and cottages. It was so quiet and peaceful in October. They had great cable options for rainy days, boat rentals, and boat launches if you have your own. The sites have water, electrical, and cable. They have 4 dump stations available and honey dipper if needed.

I work at the Resort, the job is seasonal. The resort is a nice place to vacation with your family. There's a lot to do there, and it has many options for camping, staying in cabins , little condos, and they hate a lot of areas to set up your motor homes. The owners are very nice people. There is also a lodge, which is a rustic hotel. The lake is a beautiful place to vacation

My partner and I recently stayed in a pine cabin. After reading some reviews, we were a bit worried, but the stay exceeded our expectations in every way. Our cabin was a bit rustic, but it was supposed to be! It's camping! But it was …

First time there. If you are handicapped or can't walk far, this isn't for you. Everything is a walk or a climb. You can check in early but can't get a key till 2pm (pine cabin). So need to come back to get a key. Then they will need to find out if your cabin is ready. Then if you paid for linens and blankets you'll need to dinner back to the center to tell them. They will just dump them in bags in front of your door. Can't park near the marina with a trailer so walk. Can't get a slip closer to cabins so drive or walk. Be prepared to have security want to check you every time you come from center. Cabin days sleeps 6. Then you find the loft area had no mattress. So two sets of bunk beds. Great for snuggling with your honey. So far is a complete horror show. Still the first day.

I'd like to say that I'm not sure I would call this a resort but overall we had a great trip. Our site had a beautiful view of the lake. The free wifi ran our apple tv just fine so no complaints there. They offer a service you can sign up …
